Our last day of getting up early hopefully as we are flying to Milan from Naples today. We were to meet at 6.15 for a 6.30 departure but of course the 5 couples including ourselves making the trip to Naples airport were ready at 6 so we left at 6.15am. Old people always ready early. Suits one of us.
Unfortunately we then waited about 4 hours at the airport for our flight to Milan which was possibly the bumpiest flight we had been on in recent history. Very windy apparently.
The taxi driver laughed hysterically when we mentioned we would be driving soon. Ther appears to be a pattern here.
Our hotel that gab had heroically managed to book in the midst of our money and wifi issues was reasonable and right in the middle of shopping district. We needed this additional night's accommodation as someone had not booked our Milan apartment in San Babila for all the nights. We then went for a long walk seeking San Babila apartment with no actual name or address. Pointless as it turned out. walked for miles but cant
Milan is however a very pretty city and more modern, clean and ordered than the more southern cities.

Nice hotel but the $&@)& wifi is not working despite the hotels best efforts or so they say...
